This class shows you step by step why and how investment works, how to analyze stocks and companies and how you build up your fortune by investing intelligently - from your couch.

This is not a "get rich quick" tutorial. There is no "super secret" formula to long term investment success. You don't have to be a genius in math, spend several hours per day in front of a computer for the next years or change your life. The principles and strats have been applied by many of the most successful investors in the world - since decades.

PART 1:

Part 1 (chapters 1-6) will teach you the underlying investment concept and the philosophy behind it. You will learn

why there is a difference between price and value and how you can benefit from that

why and how investment works

tools and strats on how you minimize your risks

PART 2:

As an investor you need to understand what you're going to invest in. Therefore, part 2 is going to teach you the Business Analysis. The chapters 7 to 13 will

give an introduction on how to evaluate a company / stock

show you where to find the information required for your analysis

teach you a way how to actually calculate or -better- approach the value of a business.

PART 3:

Part 3 is supposed to give you a jump start to the applied investing. The chapters 14 to 19 are intended to guide you on

which types of companies you should buy

how you will find great stocks

when to buy

and when to sell.

In the end of this part, I added two chapters with case studies where you learn from my own experiences and hopefully get an understanding on how to apply the knowledge you gathered in this class successfully in your own investment operations and how you avoid certain big mistakes, I made in my investment career.

The first case study is about my investment in Logitech - personally, that is my biggest investment success so far (15-bagger).

The second case study is about my investment in the company Schlott - which is my biggest investment failure (total loss).

In the end I added the tasks of the class project (chapter 20). The great thing about doing them is, that you might already use and benefit from the results!
