We will explore many classical methods of drawing that have been passed down through the ages. We will explore the essential techniques of drawing foundation shapes that are the basis of all intermediate and advanced drawing. This is part 1 of a series of basic drawing classes that will help you to learn to draw with confidence and to meet your drawing goals.

The is part 1 of a 3 part series designed to teach the student the fundamentals of drawing. Just like a music class where you first learn notes and keys, we will explore the use of line to create basic shapes both 2 dimensional and 3 dimensional. As the student progresses they will use these simple shapes to create complex drawings whether they are still life objects, landscapes, cityscapes or drawings of people.
