After completing this course, you would know how to create custom Shipping method.
After completing this course, you would know how to override Magento core Blocks.
After completing this course, you would know how to override Magento core Helpers.
After completing this course, you would know how to override Magento core controllers.
After completing this course, you would know how to override Magento core Models.
Requirements
Some very basic PHP, HTML knowledge.
A computer to do the exercises along with the tutorials.
A local server should be installed on your system i.e. WAMP (For windows users) or LAMP (For Linux users) or MAMP (For Mac users) to be installed on your system.
Not required but would be useful If you have completed Part 1 & 2 of this course.
Description
This course is for developers, merchants and anyone, who is looking to learn Magento 1.x. In this course we will create and use category attributes in our custom module. We will also integrate a custom payment method (Custom Payment Module). Next we will create custom shipping method (Custom Shipping Module). We will also learn how to override magento core Blocks, Models, Helpers, controllers using a custom module or without using any module.

While working on this course I assumed you are completely new to Magento. So I believe this course would be more useful to everyone.
