What we'll be working on creating in this class is creating a 2D multiplane camera effect to give the perception of depth to a flat 2D animation. This method was created by Disney for the first full-length animated feature film, Snow White.

This class is recommended for Intermediate animators, though all could benefit from these lessons. We walk step-by-step through how to create these effects using Photoshop and Blender, though the assets I use are available to skip over the "asset creation" portion if you just want to get right to the project.

Below is the software/hardware requirements for this class:

Photoshop or Krita
Blender
Computer
Drawing Tablet (optional)
Overall, the tech needs are not super extensive. Bring your appetite to learn a new skill and animation effect and let's get to it!
