An introduction to the world of Finance and Accounting that should help professionals with different backgrounds (Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, HR etc.) and levels (from junior to senior level) to understand the activity of the Finance and Accounting department. Sometimes the accountants have surprising requests and needs but they are driven by rules and regulations of their profession and don't have ulterior motives, other than having the things done right. Having the things done right involves not only applying the legislation and the fiscal requirements but also supporting the management of the company with accurate financial information in their decision making.

The course should also facilitate a minimum level of communication and understanding between Business Partners and also raise awareness on the roles and the structure a typical Finance and Accounting department holds in a company.

Last but not least, knowing more about the Finance and Accounting department in your company will help you ask them the right questions as well, receiving information you didn't know was available, information that can also help you in your activity, because such collaboration is a road with two lanes.

And in the end, who knows, maybe you will fall in love with Finance and Accounting and want to join the profession / department.
